Sandy Garossino is a former prosecutor and in-house legal counsel, strategist, and award-winning media commentator adept at early trend identification.
As a media commentator, Garossino has appeared on national affairs programs including CBC’s The National, The Fifth Estate, and CTV’s W5. As a columnist, she had a key role in establishing Canada’s National Observer as a nationally influential publication.
For over 15 years she has addressed product liability and consumer protection in technology and social media, Canada’s role in bridging the energy dilemma, and the challenges of a highly dynamic global power rivalry.
In 2024-25, Garossino and Vina Nadjibulla produced Mortal Giants, a podcast exploring the impacts on our world of developments in technology, energy, Russia and Asia.
Raised in rural Alberta, Garossino has a law degree from UBC and a bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University
