Amanda Doyle

Director, Policy & Strategic Initiatives

Amanda is Director of Policy & Strategic Initiatives at the Centre for Strategic Statecraft (CSS), where she leads policy initiatives and strategic partnerships at the intersection of foreign policy, emerging technology and economic security.

Previously, Amanda led Canada’s private-sector engagement across APEC at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and supported Canada’s representatives to the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), including its Digital Innovation workstream. Her work has brought together senior leaders from government, business and academia across the Asia-Pacific to advance Canada’s economic security and trade diversification priorities, strengthen public-private collaboration, and build international technology partnerships.

Earlier in her career, Amanda served as a senior political advisor at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. She holds a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia, with a specialization in global governance and security.
